About the Target – SCHRADENBIOGAS

Schradenbiogas GmbH & Co. KG (“Schradenbiogas”) is a waste manager and operator of three biogas plants converting organic waste to a combined biomethane production of around 9m Sm3 p.a.. The technology used by Schradenbiogas holds relevant certificates and the company owns a patented processing technology, preparing substrate intake streams more efficiently. The company has been operating reliable and highly efficient biogas plants for over 20 years and employs about 100 people. In addition to waste processing, the business activities also include plant construction and technical and commercial consulting.

About the Seller – BayWa

BayWa AG (“BayWa”) is a Munich-based company that has been in operation since 1923. It specializes in the distribution and sale of a diverse range of agricultural supplies and services, including seeds, fertilizers, and animal feed. Additionally, BayWa is actively involved in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar and wind solutions. The company has a global presence, with subsidiaries and offices in over 40 countries and employs over 21,000 people.
