Volkmar Hellmich

Volkmar Hellmich boasts over 24 years of experience in the fields of investment banking and corporate finance. Since co-founding D.CT in 2012, he has successfully spearheaded numerous transactions in the renewable, energy transition, and cleantech sectors.
Volkmar has supported clients in both buy- and sell-side projects and has delivered exceptional results in closing a significant number of growth capital mandates in the cleantech space. He has contributed to over 50 corporate finance assignments throughout his career.
Prior to founding D.CT, Volkmar gained extensive work experience at investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Leonardo & Co. (now a part of Houlihan Lokey). Additionally, he served as the Head of Chemicals M&A at Merck KGaA.
Volkmar holds a degree as Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur, combining mechanical engineering and business administration, from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University in the United States.
